Waitsburg School District Receives School of Distinction award !

    At a special awards session held at ESD 123 on October 10, 2007, Waistburg High School was presented with the School of Distinction Award. It was presented to Mr. Ken Beasley and Mrs. Olivia Leid by Mr. Bob Butts who was representing Dr. Terri Burgstrom, State Superintendent of Schools. Our Superintendent, Dr. Carol Clarke was also present for this prestigious award.
    This award celebrates the top 5% of elementary, middle and high schools that met this year's state learning targets and demonstrated outstanding improvement in both Reading and Mathematics over the past 5 years. Only fifteen high schools across the state received this award.
